The Process Development Internship will provide a hands-on training experience for downstream unit operations including lysis, clarification, and chromatography. The intern will gain knowledge related to the production and purification of AAV as well as gain experience working in a collaborative team environment and contributing to group projects. The intern’s main project will focus on binding capacity experiments, residence time determination, and buffer selection for chromatographic steps. These experiments will be used to enhance downstream processes to increase efficiency and reduce processing time. This position will report to a Research Associate on our Process Development team at our RTP location.
