About The Position

As part of the Governor’s five-year $35 billion housing plan to create or preserve 100,000 affordable homes statewide, research and analyze forms of funding available to real estate developers including financing from state and federal agencies.

Requirements

• Education level required: Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree, all majors are welcome.
• KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT EXCEL, OUTLOOK, AND WORD (POWERPOINT A PLUS); EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze grants available to qualified developers to assist with the construction of affordable housing units.
• Research other forms of funding is available to the developers, including financing programs from other state or federal agencies, like NYS Housing and Community Renewal or Housing and Urban Development.
