About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Philips People Services Intern to join our People Operations team. This internship offers hands-on experience in HR operations, process optimization, and employee lifecycle management. You’ll work closely with our People Operations professionals to support initiatives that enhance efficiency and improve the employee experience.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or communications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
  • For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Nashville.

Responsibilities

  • Support HR data entry and maintenance in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, GlobalView).
  • Help monitor and manage HR queues for timely resolution of employee requests.
  • Support compliance and documentation processes to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate on projects related to HR systems, process improvements, and reporting.
  • Help maintain and update HR templates and internal resources.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving operational workflows.
