About The Position

THIS POSITION CAN BE PERFORMED IN NICEVILLE FLORIDA OR FORT MYERS FLORIDA Position Overview : We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting various departments. You will be working closely with the Pharmaceutical and Sales team to assist with administrative assignments, customer engagement activities, and foundational sales processes. To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in learning about and given hands-on exposure to the full sales cycle of customer relationship development, product portfolio education, CRM usage, and the fundamentals of inside sales while learning the inner workings of the Company and may assist various departments with department respective assignments.

Requirements

  • Comfortable making outbound calls to customers and following a structured script or talking points.
  • Active listening abilities to capture customer responses accurately.
  • Ability to remain friendly, respectful, and clear during phone conversations.
  • Enrolled in college or university in good standing
  • Degree program in communications, marketing, political science, business or other related field
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently, and in teams, to consistently meet commitments
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Utilizes proactive approach to issues and problem solving
  • High personal discipline, attention to detail and work quality
  • Desire and motivation to learn new skills and expand knowledge to improve job performance and self-improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Strives for excellence and upholds organizational standards such as cooperation and confidentiality
  • Interest in sales, healthcare, or the pharmaceutical industry, with a basic understanding of how pharmaceutical products support patient care

  • Relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and maintain professional interactions
  • Coachability, demonstrated by receptiveness to feedback and willingness to apply guidance in real-time situations
  • Must pass drug testing.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines.
  • With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA & approved time off, attendance is considered essential.
  • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
  • Must be able to work under supervision and respond appropriately and professionally to criticism from a supervisor.
  • Must follow all employee health and safety cleaning protocols as established by the work location.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Microsoft Suite software
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.
  • Basic organizational skills to track call results and update records.

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings to learn about various departments within the Company
  • Participate in Charitable Giving events
  • Support First Nation Group leadership/staff business goals
  • Assist with developing and maintaining relationships with customers under supervision.
  • Learn the basics of First Nation Group’s product portfolio and value-add programs.
  • Support outreach activities such as initial customer research, pre-call planning, and follow-up documentation.
  • Help prepare quotes, bids, and product information packets.
  • Observe experienced Inside Sales Representatives to learn about managing the sales cycle from start to finish.
