As a Gilead intern, you will contribute to high-impact meaningful projects that will not only further advance our company's mission but will allow you to gain real-world experience at one of the most innovative organizations in the world. You will have opportunities to participate in special events including professional development and leadership presentations, social/network building activities, and local community volunteer programs. This internship will focus on developing internal project management related workstreams that lead into the overall business portfolio. You will work cross-functionally to define, develop, deliver on, and monitor business requirements suitable for enhancing and expanding core project management systems. This position requires a strong understanding of how to solve business problems using available data and to utilize opportunities in removing bottlenecks, simplifying processes, and mitigating potential risks. Your internship experience will include a buddy, mentor, exposure to senior leaders via lunch & learns, as well as corporate learning, social, and Employee Resource Group (ERG) events. Your work will be showcased with a final PowerPoint presentation near the conclusion of your internship.
