The Origination Analyst will create and use financial modeling for competitive offers, conduct research and analysis, prepare pitch materials and provide analytical support that enables the Origination & Power Marketing team to source and negotiate renewable power transactions with leading corporate and utility buyers of renewable energy products and services. Analysis performed by the Analyst will assist in developing the business's energy market strategy within the U.S. and provide analytics that facilitate customer dialogue. The Analyst will be responsible for managing the origination team’s customer database. A significant part of this role will be synthesizing commodity price, generation resources, transmission, construction, and O&M cost data from other internal groups as well as external sources. The Analyst will develop an in-depth understanding of power supply & demand, transmission and renewable energy regulation and incentives.
