This internship is designed for a college student who wants to gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, including Aggregate and Mining, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) and Quality Control (QC), and Environmental Management. The intern will contribute to real-world projects, applying engineering skills to improve processes and efficiency while learning about industry standards and regulations. What You Can Expect Gain direct experience in the aggregate, mining, and asphalt industries. Work closely with experienced professionals, including Mining Engineers, supervisors, and Environmental Managers. Get exposure to the full lifecycle of mining and production, from blasting to material processing and quality testing. Travel and make site visits to various facilities across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Develop analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Learn about budgeting, throughput costs, and labor requirements.
