KnitWell Group - 2026 Summer Internship Program Online Marketing Intern - Talbots The Online Marketing intern will work directly with the Performance Marketing team to help with email marketing, influencer marketing, digital marketing, and consumer insights. The KnitWell Group Summer Internship Program welcomes the classes of 2026 and 2027 college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor, Haven Well Within, LOFT, Talbots) and Corporate Shared Services to kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to work hands-on with their department for 10-weeks and receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project. The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr. This internship position will be based out of our Talbots office location in Hingham, MA. KnitWell Group does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations. Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housing in a commutable distance of the office location. Applicants to this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. We are not providing sponsorship for this position.

Requirements

  • Authentic, curious and passionate
  • Enrolled in an accredited degree program preferably Marketing oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • A strong communicator (both verbal and written communication)
  • Detail-oriented and entrepreneurial
  • Able to think strategically, conceptually and creatively
  • Interested in fashion, retail, and/or marketing
  • Junior or senior (Class of 2026 and 2027)
  • Master's students not eligible
  • Resume and portfolio (portfolios only needed for Design Applications)
  • Available June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Shadow performance marketing team throughout strategy development for digital channels including email and paid marketing (Search, Social, Affiliate, Display)
  • Perform in-depth competitive analyses to support marketing recommendations across both email and paid channels
  • Support the team on developing performance reporting to prove out digital marketing efforts
  • Attend Marketing team and cross-functional team meetings to experience and participate in marketing campaigns from conceptualization to execution
  • Compile research around industry trends relating to fashion/retail, marketing, and influencers
  • Assist the consumer insights team in customer research and reporting
