Requirements
- Working towards or completion of a degree in accounting, finance, math, statistics, or related discipline
- Relevant working experience preferred but not required
- Analytical expertise
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles related to income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flow
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with credit underwriting and verification of income sustainability including review of W2s, tax returns, financial statements for self-employed borrowers, and retirement income as necessary
- Track and report manual underwriting volume and decision outcome
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for credit administration
- Complete other credit-related tasks and projects assigned by management.
