Ford Motor Credit Company ("Ford Credit”), has received regulatory conditional approval to form Ford Credit Bank (the "Bank") to be headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Bank will create innovative and simplified banking solutions to help customers across the country finance the purchase of new Ford vehicles, parts, accessories, and software and earn competitive rates on FDIC-insured savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The Bank will be a direct and wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Credit Company (“Ford Credit”), an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company (“Ford”). The successful candidate will be a member of an exciting and dynamic team of banking professionals who would have the opportunity to stand-up and begin the operations of the de novo Bank. New employees hired by the bank will initially be Ford Credit employees. We’re seeking a highly qualified Executive Assistant to work closely with our Chief Executive Officer and the Bank’s Board of Directors. The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer of Ford Credit Bank. The position requires a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage complex schedules, coordinate travel, prepare correspondence, and act as a liaison with the Bank Board of Directors while maintaining confidentiality. The qualified candidate should have experience of working in the banking industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in the financial services or banking industry.
  • Proven experience supporting senior-level executives.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Knowledge of banking industry practices and regulations is a plus.

  • Knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act and required volunteering in the community

Responsibilities

  • Calendar Management: Proactively manage the Executive's complex calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls across time zones; anticipate conflicts and prioritize requests to optimize the Executive's time and ensure seamless scheduling.
  • Communication and Correspondence: Draft and prepare professional correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the Executive, managing incoming communications (phone calls, emails) and acting as the primary point of contact between the Executive and internal/external stakeholders to ensure timely and professional communication.
  • Travel Arrangements: Coordinate comprehensive travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transportation, and visas, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to company travel policies, also preparing detailed itineraries and ensuring the Executive has all necessary documents.
  • Meeting and Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, and Board Meetings, including venue selection, catering, and logistical arrangements, while preparing meeting agendas, distributing materials, to ensure efficient and productive gatherings.
  • Administrative Support: Manage expense reports and reimbursements, maintain accurate records and files (both electronic and physical), order office supplies and equipment, and provide general administrative support to the Executive and their team.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism, maintain confidentiality regarding bank operations, client information, regulatory exams and executive matters.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, board members, and other executives, representing the Executive and the bank in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about current events and trends in the banking industry, understanding key banking regulations and compliance requirements to provide informed support to the Executive.
  • Work with banking leaders with industry meetings including the American Bankers Association, Utah Bankers Association and the National Association of Industrial Banks
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive, adapting to the evolving needs of the role and providing flexible support.
