National Bank of Arizona has an opportunity for an intern to work in our Business Banking Lending and Consumer Lending groups. The intern will work on or be exposed to the following: Focuses include originating small businesses loans, deposits, Treasury Management/Select and Merchant solutions. Analyze financial statements of borrowers and guarantors and underwrite key strengths and weaknesses. Analyze borrower financial statement ratios and compare to the industry averages and generate a summary of questions/issues to discuss as part of loan underwriting. Analyze individual tax returns and credit reports to calculate debt to income ratio and personal cash flow available to service debt. Perform research on individual owners and businesses and provide a summary of any findings. Understanding business and consumer client needs through Needs Assessments Review industry research reports to provide a summary of the specific industry for commercial and industrial loans. Assist in completing annual file/loan reviews. Various clean-up/data projects.
