About The Position

ESP Associates, Inc. has an opportunity for a summer 2026 Civil Engineering Intern to support Municipal Infrastructure engineering projects in the Fort Mill, SC office. This is an excellent opportunity for a student with specific interests in exploring a career path in Infrastructure Design and Stormwater management!

Responsibilities:
The position could involve work in infrastructure design, construction document preparation for roads, storm drainage systems, storm water management facilities, water and sewer utility design, sediment and erosion control, and traffic control.

Requirements

• Must currently be enrolled in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology curriculum.
• Applicant must have a strong desire to learn and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D is preferred.
• EI preferred.
