About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: To assist in the daily operations of the production department, as assigned by supervisor/management. This is a Safety Sensitive Position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Learning opportunities across the departments will require the employee to be flexible and open to working within different software programs, as trained; Ability to work across teams and groups to build strong relationships; An independent thinker and ability to contribute to either an independent or team environment; Data entry and interpretation. Quality of work requires exceptional attention to detail; Learning to work in a professional environment; Confidentiality is expected in this position; Manual work such as product inspection, cleaning work spaces, lifting boxes, etc. will be required, as requested; Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Any other duties as assigned by Supervision/Management. Adheres to all safety rules and procedures; Any other duties as assigned by Supervision/Management. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for following all Food Safety related policies and procedures; Responsible for following all Safety Rules, policies, procedures and work instructions; Sorts through and visually inspects rejected cartons.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Currently enrolled in Post-Secondary education/training
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior technical writing experience or classroom instruction preferred
• Prior production experience and mechanical aptitude preferred
• Current post-secondary training/education directly related to manufacturing preferred, but not required
