About The Position

Roc Nation is looking for a highly motivated, organized and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment and music industries. This internship will allow you to gain first-hand experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to label, publishing and management transactions. Areas that you will be learning about as a Legal Music intern: Draft, review and/or revise definitive transaction documents and related documents, such as exclusive recording, publishing, talent management, and distribution agreements Draft, review and/or revise work-for-hire, confidentiality, and release agreements Draft, review and/or revise artist clearance communications Review and advise on intellectual property issues within visual content Draft, review and/or revise form documents Conduct research on various topics as needed Assist with file management

Requirements

Must be a current law student, enrolled in a J.D. program at an accredited university
Must be eligible to receive academic credit from your university for the duration of the internship
Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa

Responsibilities
