With over 100 locations, Sono Bello is the largest and fastest-growing cosmetic surgery practice in the nation. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Intern to support the Legal and Compliance Department of a the country’s leading cosmetic surgery provider. This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory research, policy development, and operational support. The ideal candidate is interested in healthcare law, ethics, and regulatory frameworks and is eager to learn in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Law, or a related field
  • Strong interest in healthcare compliance, ethics, or regulatory affairs
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Sharepoint
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential and privileged information
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monitoring and auditing compliance with healthcare laws and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute)
  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research on federal and state healthcare requirements
  • Assist in organizing and tracking compliance training programs and material
