About The Position

Join Labcorp's 2026 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! We're looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 11-week paid internship where you'll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives. As a Labcorp intern, you'll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you'll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp's global business, culture, and leadership through enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership exposure, and visibility, including direct interaction with senior leaders. You'll also participate in an immersive, in-person intern event designed to connect you with peers and deepen your understanding of our mission, along with senior leader speaker sessions offering insights into strategy, innovation, and career growth.

Requirements

• Working towards an associate's or higher degree in a biological or laboratory science.
• Minimum of 60 semester hours with 6 hours in biology, 6 hours in chemistry, and 12 hours of chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology in any combination.
• Interest in completing a national certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
• Expressed desire and interest to work in a laboratory as a technologist after completing an undergraduate degree.
• Must be able to regularly lift, carry, and rotate/turn with up to thirty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specimens by supporting the technicians and technologist.
• Familiarize with clinical laboratory techniques and good laboratory practices.
• Familiarize with specimen processing.
• Familiarize with testing techniques in all functional areas.
• Familiarize with anatomical pathology practices.
• Understand safety standards and hazard communication.
