About The Position

This Intern - IT position supports the information technology team by assisting with various IT functions. The role involves hardware and software troubleshooting, PC setup, network maintenance, and system documentation. Key responsibilities also include assisting with IT audits, maintaining hardware inventory, and communicating issue statuses. The intern will be expected to learn new technologies and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving. Additionally, the position requires maintaining customer files, importing documents into a file storage system, and participating in community engagement activities, while adhering to relevant federal laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to navigate and learn computer systems and software
  • Solid reasoning, analytical, technical, mathematical and language abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Be seeking a degree at an accredited college/university with a major in accounting, banking, business administration, commercial or banking law, economics, finance, marketing, or other fields related to the position.
  • Have at least a cumulative (overall) 3.0 GPA
  • Have completed two full academic years toward the degree

Responsibilities

  • Supports the information technology team by assisting with hardware/software troubleshooting, PC setup, network maintenance, and system documentation.
  • Assists with IT audits and maintains hardware inventory.
  • Communicates the status of issues with the team and escalates to fellow resources when necessary.
  • Performs cleanup/filing/organizing of IT hardware/software inventories as needed.
  • Demonstrates a willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness when finding solutions to problems.
  • Maintains accuracy and details of customer files, which may include scanning for electronic files.
  • Import documents into our file storage system.
  • Participates in community engagement activities
  • Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Other duties as assigned.
