We’re looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 12-week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives. As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you’ll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp’s global business, culture, and leadership through enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership exposure, and visibility, including direct interaction with senior leaders. You will also participate in an immersive, in-person intern event designed to connect you with peers and deepen your understanding of our mission.

  • Assist in the management of IT related projects; entire project lifecycle from sizing and scoping project to implementation, closure and handoff to support.
  • May function as Scrum Master for one or more workstreams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments for team, and managing dependencies with other teams.
  • Build project plans, including necessary deliverables and schedules.
  • Assist in the facilitation of project scoping, ensuring that issues are raised, necessary input is obtained and project work is outlined.
  • Assist in management of project dependencies to ensure schedule execution.
  • Assist in risk management and appropriate mitigation strategies for projects.
  • Lead meetings and facilitate effective communications to drive decisions and action items.
  • Provide regular reports and project status updates to management, stakeholders and others.
  • Utilize appropriate metrics to help understand health of team and deliverables for the projects are met.
  • Working towards bachelor’s degree in informatics.
  • Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting.
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.
  • Embraces diverse perspectives through partnerships and teamwork.
