Intern- IT Platform Services Data Center
About The Position
The Platform Services department handles the infrastructure for MaineHealth. The Data Center team manages the 16 physical Data Centers for MaineHealth. We handle the installations and break/fix for all server infrastructure. The team is 3 people, and we travel to all MH locations and support the IT needs for MaineHealth. The Summer Intern will assist in the day-to-day work to manage the 16 Data Centers for MaineHealth. This position will require travel in Maine and NH to MaineHealth sites. This position will help with the installation of new equipment and the decommissioning of legacy IT needs and project work as needed. Preference will be given to undergraduate students pursuing computer technology or other related majors.
Requirements
- Student who is currently enrolled in a two-year Associate's Degree program, Bachelor's Degree program, or graduate-level program preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day work to manage the 16 Data Centers for MaineHealth.
- Help with the installation of new equipment and the decommissioning of legacy IT needs and project work as needed.
