Please note definition differences between Intern and Co-op:
Intern: Student works full-time during the summer
Co-op: Student works part-time while school is in session. Student may work more hours during the summer if not enrolled in classes. Students may work for a minimum of one semester or longer.

Both positions are paid according to current academic standing and job classification.

What we are looking for:
Yazaki is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join our IT Governance team in Canton, MI. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from May 11, 2026 to August 15, 2026.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
• Degree/experience related to the position (e.g., Computer Sciences and Business Administration).
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026
• Foundational information technology skills, technical writing and process engineering.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of generative AI and agentic workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of ServiceNow Now Assist and Agentic AI with Virtual Agent to transform our employee support experience across regions.
• Help design, test, and launch AI-powered workflows and conversations that improve productivity, accuracy, and user satisfaction.
• Work closely with IT Process Owners, Support Teams and Platform Owners while learning at enterprise scale.
• Collaboration with business users will be required.
