The BioMarin Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within BioMarin, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Over the course of 10 - 12 weeks our interns gain industry experience while working alongside our talented team on meaningful projects. The Global E2E Product Supply Chain Team (GSP) is a subunit of the Global Supply Chain Planning Organization and is accountable for delivering credible 36 months horizon manufacturing and distribution plans to the Manufacturing and Distribution Organizations, ensuring continued product supply to patients and optimum inventory levels as per financial guidelines. This role will support key activities within the Global Supply Chain Planning organization, focusing on integrating industry best practices into GSP’s inventory management tools, processes, and systems. Working closely with global planners and cross functional partners, the intern will contribute to initiatives that enhance end-to-end supply reliability, strengthen inventory controls, and drive data driven decision making.‑functional partners, the intern will contribute to initiatives that enhance end‑to‑end ‑driven decision making. During the internship, the intern will: Assist with the development, maintenance, and improvement of inventory governance metrics and analytics dashboards Analyze inventory trends, product flows, and supply/demand signals to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, or optimization opportunities.
