About The Position

The Intern, International, Motion Picture Group (MPG) will support the International – MPG team. The intern will gain exposure to the group that is involved with major film markets and festivals (Berlin Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, and American Film Market).  The Lionsgate Internship Program is designed to identify, recruit, and develop a diverse group of students that will gain meaningful educational experiences, professional growth, and career opportunities. Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Power Point and Keynote (Mac) is preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks
  • Ability to work overtime on a needed basis
  • Must be dependable and a proactive team player
  • Must be punctual and personable
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful
  • Interns must not work more than 40 hours per week
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
  • Graduate students are eligible to apply
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to International Motion Picture Group
  • Support tracking script log and organizing department weekend read
  • Read and provide script feedback
  • Create presentations for department and client meetings
  • Exposure to building film projections and producer reports
