About The Position

The Acquisitions & Co-Productions team is seeking an intern who will help cover scripts and completed films, prepare for film festivals and track submissions. Experience writing script coverage is highly preferred. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursing a degree in Film or Communications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience writing script coverage.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • A passion for film!
  • Interns must not work more than 40 hours per week
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
  • Graduate students are eligible to apply
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
  • All internships are paid
  • Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office

Responsibilities

  • Execute script and screener coverage.
  • Enter information about available films into our database.
  • Create decks for film festival recaps.
  • Assist in tracking incoming submissions.
  • Monitor the trades for important film announcements and sales.
  • Shadow the department assistant to build administrative skills.
