About The Position
The Internal Audit Intern position at Caesars Entertainment offers a unique opportunity for students to apply their academic knowledge of accounting and auditing principles in a real-world setting. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Internal Audit, the intern will engage in various auditing activities, including compliance, financial, and operational audits across multiple Caesars properties, with a primary focus on locations in Las Vegas. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience, allowing the intern to gain insights into the internal audit functions and the operational activities of the business. Throughout the internship, the intern will assist in planning and executing audits, examining the adequacy and effectiveness of information systems and business controls, and assessing compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves identifying and documenting business processes and controls in accordance with established department standards, which is crucial for maintaining operational integrity. The intern will also contribute to fostering strong relationships with mid-level management and staff, which is essential for effective communication and collaboration during audit activities. In addition to audit responsibilities, the intern will have the opportunity to participate in various ad hoc special projects, collaborating with corporate or property management. This role includes shadowing and mentoring opportunities, providing exposure to professionals in accounting, auditing, and operations.
