About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and curious intern to join our team for the summer. This position offers a hands-on introduction to the insurance industry and the opportunity to gain experience in a professional office environment. The role will primarily be based in our three offices - Provincetown, Wellfleet and Harwich Port.

Requirements

• Actively working toward a college-level degree
• Previous office experience preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn, especially about the insurance industry
• Ability to travel between BY&D office locations as needed

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the Commercial Insurance Manager with administrative tasks and special projects
• Provide support to the BY&D team with mailings and general office duties
• Shadow team members to gain exposure to various roles within the agency
• Participate in learning opportunities to build knowledge of the insurance industry
