The WEX Summer Internship Program: Learn, Lead, and Make an Impact Our 13-week paid internship program, running from late May to mid-August, is a chance for you to gain real-world experience and develop your skills. Recruiting begins in January and continues through March at our various locations across the U.S. You won't just be a bystander; you'll work on impactful projects and contribute to WEX’s mission. About the team/role: You will primarily work with existing WEX Fuel Card customers to increase their purchasing of Non-Fuel Related Products. These customers are usually Commercial Trucking Companies that are unaware of the Non-Fuel Benefits and Discounts associated with being a WEX Customer. You will be required to communicate with customers and warm leads via phone, email, and video meetings. Outbound/Inbound communications with existing customers and warm leads will be 40% of your duties. You will play a key role in our tire program’s authorization process by taking regular inbound phone calls and assisting commercial tire dealers with sales processes.
