About The Position

We're looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 11-week paid internship where you'll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives. As a Labcorp intern, you'll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you'll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp's global business, culture, and leadership through enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership exposure, and visibility, including direct interaction with senior leaders. You'll also participate in an immersive, in-person intern event designed to connect you with peers and deepen your understanding of our mission, along with senior leader speaker sessions offering insights into strategy, innovation, and career growth.

Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other related science.
• 1+ years of experience in a clinical lab, or relevant lab experience.
• Completion of coursework in introductory Immunology.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Experience using literature/search engines/databases to pursue science.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and non-technical protocols in accordance with established procedures.
• Gain knowledge of department specific procedures and operations and work in cross functional teams.
• Generate reliable and consistent results, including analyses and critiques, and maintain an accurate and comprehensible experimental notebook.
• Attend training sessions to learn process development.
• Present accomplishments to scientists from various disciplines and to senior management at the end of the program.
