Exposure to everything from smart devices to sustainable solutions. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our HR Compensation team at the NJ Headquarters (onsite). This internship is designed for a student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems who is eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world business and technology solutions. The intern will gain hands-on experience in systems analysis, data management, and application development—specifically utilizing Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) while helping to streamline our internal job requisition and job library processes. Requirements

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, majoring in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Power Platform Experience: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI is required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of software development lifecycles, database management (e.g., SQL), and systems analysis.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to commute to and work onsite at the NJ HQ.
  • Drive: An eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new technologies and project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Development: Assist in the design, development, and implementation of the Job Requisition and Job Library Project utilizing Power Apps.
  • Automation: Build, test, and optimize automated workflows for the job requisition process using Power Automate.
  • Data Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Power BI to track project metrics and job library data.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the project team to gather, analyze, and document technical and business requirements.
  • Data Management: Support data migration, data cleansing, and system integration tasks to ensure accurate job requisition workflows.
  • Reporting: Participate in regular project meetings and provide consistent progress updates to project leadership.
  • Troubleshooting: Help troubleshoot technical issues, debug system errors, and optimize application performance.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation and user guides for the newly developed systems.
