About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a contributing member of a designated home department (e.g., Operations, HR, Merchandising, Marketing, IT, or Finance).
  • Support key departmental projects that align with business objectives and priorities.
  • Participate in day-to-day activities and gain exposure to functional operations and decision-making processes.
  • Assist with coordinating employee leaves of absence (LOA) by helping employees complete required forms, answering basic questions, and guiding them through the LOA steps in alignment with company and state/federal guidelines.
  • Support communication efforts by providing clear updates to employees and managers regarding leave status, documentation needs, and benefit considerations.
  • Provide day-to-day support for employee benefits administration, including helping employees with general benefit questions, directing them to resources when needed, and assisting with benefit-related tasks that connect to LOA cases.
  • Assist with benefits audits and billing processes by gathering information, reviewing documents for accuracy, and supporting the HR team with routine audit and billing tasks.
  • Assist with tracking and reporting key training metrics to measure engagement, completion, and impact.
  • Design engaging learning content in RISE, ensuring materials are clear, interactive, and aligned with program objectives.
  • Contribute creative ideas for improving learner experience and content accessibility.
  • Collaborate in small teams (2-3 interns) to complete a strategic, cross-functional project.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and develop creative, actionable recommendations.
  • Deliver a formal presentation of project outcomes to the Operating Committee at the conclusion of the program.
  • Participate in job shadows with leaders from multiple departments to gain a broad view of organizational operations.
  • Explore retail and non-retail environments to see firsthand how strategic initiatives impact guests.
  • Attend cross-functional learning sessions that foster business understanding and collaboration.
  • Complete weekly learning assignments including readings, TED Talks, and guided reflection exercises.
  • Attend large-group sessions led by the Learning & Development (L&D) team featuring leadership lessons, guest speakers, and business insights.
  • Participate in skill-building workshops focused on communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and presentation skills.
  • Meet weekly with an assigned mentor for feedback, coaching, and career development discussions.
  • Check in regularly with a department lead to review project progress and learning goals.
  • Partner with L&D throughout the program to track growth and ensure a meaningful learning experience.
