About The Position

Our Emerging Talent Programs — including Internships and Trainee roles — provide hands-on opportunities for students and early-career professionals to contribute to the teams behind our film, television, and entertainment experiences. These paid, seasonal assignments deliver meaningful, high-impact work designed to accelerate your growth. You’ll take on real responsibilities, build practical skills, and gain exposure to the business through structured learning, executive engagement, and networking opportunities. Our internship program is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, as well as individuals seeking to deepen their education through immersive, professional experience in the entertainment industry. The Global Development & Programming department works as the bridge between Sony’s domestic and international TV arms, assisting in developing and selling upcoming global television shows produced by the studios while also maintaining an internal slate.

Requirements

• Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable with excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
• Passion for television and development for scripted programming on a global scale.
• Interest in the entertainment industry both domestically and internationally.
• Good eye for creative storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiar with international content
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Assisting department with day-to-day functions and material organization - updating and creating grids, note taking on calls and meetings, scheduling meetings with key partners and producers, etc.
• Reading and providing feedback on incoming and existing material.
• Sitting in on meetings and discussions about projects.
