Market Research – Research opportunities in foreign markets appropriate to New York State industries, with a particular emphasis on the strategic industries in all 10 regions. Develop and maintain a document that includes market research findings. Use REDC reports as a basis for the strategic industries and regional plans for export promotion. 2. Data Collection and Analysis – Research and compile information on export trade statistics for New York State for meetings and events. 3. Special Projects - Assist with the development and implementation of targeted trade projects, such as case studies and development of in person and virtual events. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education level required: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in International Business, International Relations. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Strong internet research and basic data analysis experience required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present research in both written form and orally. Ability to collect key information from numerous sources. Good understanding of world geography. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point. Some knowledge of international protocol. You will be required to be in person at least four days per week in the NYC office
