Requirements

• Actively working toward a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, with equivalent experience also considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and to collaborate with team members.

Nice To Haves

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a similar field, or possessing equivalent experience.
• Previous internship experience in environmental compliance and industrial manufacturing is helpful.
• Program management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
• Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, which may include prior work experience or completion of relevant coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management support for compliance-related projects by coordinating tasks & progress, and driving alignment across teams to ensure achievements are met.
• Assist in developing and implementing environmental compliance programs related to air, water, and waste management.
• Participate in data collection, analysis, and validation for compliance metrics and reporting.
• Give technical evaluations of pollution control and emission reduction technologies.
• Engage in research on emerging regulations and assist in risk assessments for compliance strategies.
• Assist in maintaining and improving Micron’s Environmental Management System (EMS)
