Requirements

Undergraduate student seeking a degree in computer science, geography, GIS, engineering, or relevant fields.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software applications.
Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Driven and enthusiasm for work.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge and experience using ESRI GIS software.
Ability to use scanning equipment.
Ability to learn about water related infrastructure and records.
Ability to learn new business systems.
Experience using Excel and Word.
Ability to learn other computer programs

Responsibilities

Responsible for scanning documents and entering data from those documents into GIS and other business systems such as AquaDIS, Vault, and SAP.
Use GIS, SAP, Excel and other business systems to update and create records of water utility assets.
Create features and assign attributes to that feature in GIS system.
Collect and organize geospatial data to develop new feature classes.
Find and add missing GIS attribute information.
Develop and perform GIS queries in response to requests.
Responsible for updating, maintaining, and improving quality of GIS data.
