The Genesis Marketing Department is seeking a motivated and creative summer intern to support the halo product launch and aid in positioning social media as a key marketing channel to gain new racing and multicultural audiences. The Intern, Genesis Marketing will primarily focus on social media strategies and the review of retailer-oriented creative assets to ensure they align with our brand and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury brands, preferably luxury automotive, social media trends, and has a keen eye for detail.

Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Meta, X, TikTok, You Tube, etc.) and their analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2026
  • Local to Fountain Valley, CA (no relocation or housing will be offered)
  • Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creative reviews, calendaring, and posting brand and retailer social media campaigns that promote our luxury vehicles and enhance brand visibility.
  • Review and evaluate video assets from retailers, ensuring that they meet our brand guidelines and are compliant with Retailer Marketing Guidelines.
  • Review weekly retailer infractions for advertising compliance.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and marketing meetings, contributing fresh ideas and perspectives.
  • Audit Ad Planner asset portal, to ensure assets are uploaded and populated correctly on the platform and navigation is logical.
