About The Position

The Genesis After Sales Intern will play a key role in supporting both the Fixed Operations and Owner Marketing teams within the After Sales division. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of Genesis After Sales operations. This role will contribute meaningfully to the success of the department through involvement in strategic, operational, and analytical initiatives. The program includes rotations across multiple functional areas—such as Dealer Programs, Owner Marketing, and other core areas providing exposure to diverse aspects of the business and fostering professional development.

Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate
  • Bachelor’s degree candidate
  • Experience working with data sets to provide reporting and analytics
  • Experience creating, reviewing and editing presentations
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, high initiative works well independently.
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Available for a full-time paid internship in June to August 2026
  • Local to Fountain Valley, CA (no relocation or housing will be offered)
  • Must be eligible to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the internship
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Nice To Haves

  • Financial and accounting knowledge is a plus
  • Passion for automobiles, automotive industry, and luxury products
  • Automotive/dealership/luxury experience a plus
  • Experience with Alteryx and Tableau a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate program execution across retailers, field operations, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Monitor program performance through detailed tracking, reporting, and data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and refine executive-level presentations to communicate program status, insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Provide operational support for program implementation, troubleshooting, and process optimization as needed.
  • Facilitate marketing and program coordination among agencies, partners, retailers, field staff, and internal Genesis teams to drive cohesive campaigns.
  • Assist in program planning, execution, and operational workflows to enhance customer engagement and brand consistency.
  • Work closely with Brand Marketing team to ensure alignment in messaging.
  • Track and report program metrics to measure effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Organize and participate in weekly cross-functional meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up on action items.
  • Support financial processes including budget tracking, purchase order management, and reconciliation to maintain fiscal accuracy.
  • Execute ad-hoc tasks and special projects, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment
