The intern will be assigned a capital project to develop in some portion of the project's life cycle (scoping, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and/or closing). This person will be exposed to project management & project management processes, supply chain processes, power generation (renewables, fossil, hydro, cyber security) as well as Dominion Energy.

  • Develop a capital project in various stages of its life cycle including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closing.
  • Gain exposure to project management processes and supply chain processes.
  • Learn about power generation including renewables, fossil, hydro, and cyber security.
  • Eligible applicants must be on track to graduate in 2027 or 2028.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 either overall or within major.
  • In pursuit of a bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited 4-year institution, majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
