About The Position
Morning Brew Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Intern. At the end of the program, this intern will independently own a recurring financial report or analysis, demonstrate a clear understanding of key business drivers, and deliver a structured, data driven final project that provides actionable insights and recommendations to improve business performance. Our summer internship position is a part-time role based in our New York office.
Requirements
- A current junior or senior enrolled in relevant degree program
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Strong analytical skills
- Passionate about Morning Brew Inc. and the work we do
Responsibilities
- Support recurring financial reporting and maintain key revenue and KPI trackers
- Analyze performance vs. plan and identify key business drivers
- Build and update basic financial models to support forecasting and decisions
- Partner cross-functionally to gather data and inform analysis
- Contribute to executive reporting and business insights
- Perform ad hoc analysis on revenue, audience, and campaign performance
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency
- Document processes to support scalability
- Deliver a final analysis project with clear insights and recommendations
