About the team/role: As a Financial Crimes Operations Intern, you will join the Fraud & Disputes Operations team for the summer, where you will have the opportunity to bridge the gap between complex data and frontline operational efficiency. We are looking for a Graduate-level student who is passionate about operational excellence and data science, excited to learn more about the FinTech industry, and interested in learning more about how large-scale financial institutions protect customers while maintaining peak performance. You will collaborate closely with a diverse group of experts, including Financial Crimes QA Analysts, Investigators, and Fraud Specialists, to see a holistic operational system in action. How you’ll make an impact: Design Scalable Solutions: Accountable for the development of staffing and capacity models for frontline operational teams, ensuring our investigators and specialists are positioned for success. Build Repeatable Tools: Create and refine templates and modeling tools that the team can use as a standardized resource long after your internship concludes. Synthesize Complex Data: Review and analyze an extensive portfolio of operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement. Optimize Systems: Gain hands-on experience with operational management system tools to facilitate a deep understanding of organizational growth and workflow depth.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration (MBA), Operations Research, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong proficiency in data synthesis and the ability to translate "big data" into actionable staffing insights.
• Financial modeling skills (experience with capacity planning or workforce management tools is a plus).
• A curious mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across different levels of leadership, from Investigators to the VP of Anti-Financial Crimes.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex modeling results to non-technical stakeholders.
