This internship will focus on supporting the Finance and Project Accounting teams with project setup, billing support, and financial documentation while learning the fundamentals of construction accounting.

Requirements

A current student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Detail-oriented, organized, and interested in learning financial and accounting processes
Able to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in an office environment
Junior status or above
Basic understanding of accounting or finance principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities

Assist with setting up new projects in the ERP system, including basic coding and data entry
Support the entry and review of project budgets, budget changes, and financial updates
Help research and implement analytical data strategies
Assist with accounts receivable tracking, aging reports, and basic collections support
Support coordination between Finance, Project Managers, and Accounts Payable as needed
Help maintain financial documentation, including waivers, tax certificates, and contract files
Respond to internal requests and assist with administrative finance tasks as assigned
