About The Position
WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Intern - Finance in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin office. This internship is full-time during the Summer of 2026. The hourly rate for this position is $20.30 with paid company holidays. WEC Energy Group offers these finance opportunities to students seeking hands-on experience and are currently enrolled in a four-year degree program. As a finance intern you will have the opportunity to shadow and work on tasks related to data analysis, accounting, forecasting and strategy.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or closely related field with a graduation date after June 2026
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
Responsibilities
- Assist with reporting and analysis
- Participate in month end closing tasks, forecasting, and budgeting
- Develop organizational and planning skills
- Work with departments across the company to ensure accuracy of data and validity of information
- Learn business support, strategy, and planning
