The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization whose mission is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life for the children and adults affected by these diseases. Our work is dramatically accelerating the research process through our varied research initiatives; we also provide extensive educational and support resources for patients and their families, medical professionals, and the public. In addition, we lead federal and state-based advocacy campaigns to support medical research funding and improve patient access to care. Position Summary: The Foundation has an exciting learning opportunity available for a Finance Intern. This is a chance to work within a leading non-profit organization to gain firsthand knowledge on accounting and finance operations that help an organization accomplish its mission. This role would provide exposure to the overall field of Finance and Operations. We are seeking someone for this internship who is high-energy, detailed oriented and a self-starter with strong inter-personal and communication skills. This is a hybrid internship with 2 days/week in the Foundation's New York City office and 2 days/week remote (20 hours/week). The Spring Internship program runs from February 9 - April 2.
