Intern- EPS Test Engineering

AST SpaceMobileMidland, TX
2hOnsite

About The Position

AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Position Overview The Electrical & Power Systems Test (EPS/CSAT) Engineering Intern will support functional testing, hardware validation, and integration activities for satellite electrical and power subsystems. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside the Midland EPS test team to validate flight hardware, design and build test harnesses and PCBs, and support lab-based development and troubleshooting. The intern will collaborate cross-functionally with power, RF, command and data handling (C&DH), and other subsystem teams to ensure reliable electrical system performance and seamless spacecraft integration. This internship is from 5/18/2026 to 8/7/2026 on-site at our Midland, TX facility. A housing stipend of $250 per week will be provided. You must be enrolled in the following semester. If you just graduated, please apply to one of our full-time roles.
