As the Engineering Lab Intern, you will assist the Research and Development Engineering team in successfully achieving continuous improvement efforts. This internship offers a variety of opportunities that can vary from basic engineering tasks related to design, analysis, test, and developing products and equipment.

Requirements

  • Student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related Engineering field
  • Candidates must have completed their second year of engineering studies
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • High problem-solving skills and self-direction
  • Company will not provide sponsorship of position – must be eligible to work in US

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with technical drawings
  • Mechanical aptitude for machines and tools
  • Technical hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to engineering team in the execution of the technical activities required on assigned projects.
  • Provide support to engineering team by performing activities such as mock-up preparation, process testing and equipment qualifications
  • Learn and perform test and measurement equipment in mechanical or electronic systems for product testing
  • Improve the lab workspace for efficiency
  • Lead other projects as assigned or proposed by you
