Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

The preferred candidates will be at least a junior in a college degree program in electrical or mechanical engineering.
Internship duration: May - September

Responsibilities

Assists with inspection of new plant process equipment for conformance to plans and specifications.
Verify plant installations are consistent with facility as-built drawings.
Performs basic engineering calculations to select new equipment.
Assists with construction field oversight.
Assist with inspection of construction work performed by contractors to insure compliance with the plans and specifications.
Assist with inspection of materials delivered to construction sites to verify compliance with specifications and approved submittals.
Assist performing basic engineering calculations (e.g. / electrical conductor and conduit sizing, pressure and flow for piping and pumping systems, etc.).
Assist with preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Perform related duties as required.
Works under the general supervision of a Sr. Program Manager.
