About The Position

AGA is seeking an intern to join its Energy Markets, Analysis, and Standards (EMAS) team to support its economics work efforts in various topics including economic fundamentals, modeling, regulatory analysis, and the creation of tools to bolster EMAS’ analytical efforts. The EMAS intern can expect to work collaboratively with AGA staff while creating educational documents, collecting data to be used in analytical tools, performing research projects and reviewing, editing, and analyzing data using large datasets. The intern may also expect to work on projects that quantify the public value of natural gas, and the most cost-effective means to deliver energy to homes and businesses across the US. AGA professional staff will provide mentoring and assistance with professional development skills.

Requirements

  • Relevant backgrounds include economics, engineering, and policy.
