About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and curious Software Developer Intern to join our Technology Services Department and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Software Developer Intern, you will collaborate with experienced developers to design, develop, test, and maintain internal applications and systems that support our business operations. Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, provide professional support in the areas of assignment while learning the specifics of working in a utility setting.
• Specific duties may include research, analyzing processes, and writing and testing software.
• Develop knowledge and skills related to SAP/ABAP programming needed to complete assigned projects on time and efficiently.
• Coding proficiency required in a modern programming language such as JAVA, Python, C#, Visual Basic, etc.
• Analyze processes and data and make recommendations for future state.
• Research and propose new processes and technologies for application to the department and company.
• Writes supporting reports and complete special projects which will require researching, analyzing, and interpreting different types of reference material which address current or proposed projects.
• Collaborates with staff and management to identify applicable project and system requirements.
• Assists in developing standards, procedures, user guides, training, and/or other related documentation.
