Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • 0-2 Years Relevant Experience
  • Student should be a current college student.
  • Engineering Field of Study.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Design Validation personnel in the design, fabrication, and validation of System functional Test Racks. This includes the design and fabrication of mechanical and electrical components.
  • Assisting Design Validation personnel in the design, fabrication, validation, and performance of component qualification/investigative tests. As experience is gained, the candidate will take over responsibility of these tasks and handle them from start to finish.
  • Assist with day-to-day activities of the Design Validation Department in a wide variety of tasks across the Brakes, Doors, and HVAC business units.
  • Use skills learned to troubleshoot and investigate issues that may arise in the lab.
  • Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules and regulations.
  • Be energy conscious, if applicable.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with company's rules and policies.
  • Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations.

  • Must understand and comply with applicable standards. ( i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO 22163, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, AAR, and CMMI).
