About The Position

Lanteris Space is currently seeking a highly motivated intern to make an immediate impact in support of the Quality Engineering organization. The ideal candidate has experience with implementing a quality planning approach including evaluating appropriate solutions & processes. We are looking for someone who can collaborate, innovate, who is not afraid of a challenge.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering, physics or related discipline with completion of two years or more, or currently enrolled in a master's degree program.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI based data analysis and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledgeable of Lean Six Sigma, APQP/AS9145, ISO9001/QMS, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA
  • Experience with Access, Visio, and any applicable business intelligence tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to assist teams in executing system projects in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Analyze product develop cycle processes and identify gaps to advanced quality requirements.
  • Support various engineering organizations in the execution of the above plans providing relative engineering support where necessary and where appropriate.
  • Coordinate with engineering groups to populate lessons from past programs and recommend product design and process improvements for future programs.
  • Influence and leverage improvement and corrective action governance boards to recommend and implement prevention actions and/or corrective actions as necessary.
