About The Position

Lanteris Space is currently seeking a highly motivated intern to make an immediate impact in support of the Quality Engineering organization. The ideal candidate has experience with implementing a quality planning approach including evaluating appropriate solutions & processes. We are looking for someone who can collaborate, innovate, who is not afraid of a challenge.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering, physics or related discipline with completion of two years or more, or currently enrolled in a master's degree program.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AI based data analysis and tools
Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
Knowledgeable of Lean Six Sigma, APQP/AS9145, ISO9001/QMS, PPAP, DFMEA/PFMEA
Experience with Access, Visio, and any applicable business intelligence tools.
Demonstrated ability to assist teams in executing system projects in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Analyze product develop cycle processes and identify gaps to advanced quality requirements.
Support various engineering organizations in the execution of the above plans providing relative engineering support where necessary and where appropriate.
Coordinate with engineering groups to populate lessons from past programs and recommend product design and process improvements for future programs.
Influence and leverage improvement and corrective action governance boards to recommend and implement prevention actions and/or corrective actions as necessary.
