About The Position
The intern will act as a provider of additional bandwidth for Design Engineers by taking on the following challenges: - Assist with Engineering Change Requests - Legacy drawing conversions Learning Objectives: - Gain experience in design engineering for a world class Valve manufacturer - Understanding criticality of the design function in the manufacturing environment - How to implement the learning and practices they have studied
Requirements
- Interns should be in the process of completing the second year of a full time (or equivalent) BEng or MEng, IMechE accredited Mechanical Engineering (or Mechanical Engineering bias) degree.
- They should be familiar with 3D design tools (such as Solid Works), as well as fluent in Microsoft office applications (Work, Excel, Powerpoint).
- U.S. Citizen
