Responsibilities JOB PURPOSE: The Data Analytics Intern will support the Data Analytics team in building, maintaining, and analyzing data solutions that drive operational and strategic decision-making. You will partner closely with a Senior Data Engineer and cross-functional stakeholders to work with real-world datasets, contribute to reporting, and gain exposure to modern data architecture and tools. This is a high-impact, hands-on internship designed to build foundational skills in SQL, data modeling, reporting, and data pipelines.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
Ability to communicate findings clearly (written and verbal)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
Familiarity with Excel, Python, or data analysis tools
Basic understanding of data warehousing or ETL concepts
Interest in learning Azure, data pipelines, and enterprise data systems

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining SQL queries, datasets, and data transformations to support reporting and analytics initiatives
Support the creation of dashboards and reports (Power BI or similar tools) to communicate insights across the business
Work with the Data Engineering team to understand and contribute to ETL/data pipeline processes and data integration from multiple sources (APIs, flat files, internal systems)
Help validate data accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure data quality and consistency
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning) and collaborate across teams
Assist in documenting data processes, data dictionaries, and workflows
Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve business performance
Translate business questions into data-driven insights with guidance from senior team members
