Responsibilities JOB PURPOSE: The Data Analytics Intern will support the Data Analytics team in building, maintaining, and analyzing data solutions that drive operational and strategic decision-making. You will partner closely with a Senior Data Engineer and cross-functional stakeholders to work with real-world datasets, contribute to reporting, and gain exposure to modern data architecture and tools. This is a high-impact, hands-on internship designed to build foundational skills in SQL, data modeling, reporting, and data pipelines.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with Excel, Python, or data analysis tools
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing or ETL concepts
  • Interest in learning Azure, data pipelines, and enterprise data systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining SQL queries, datasets, and data transformations to support reporting and analytics initiatives
  • Support the creation of dashboards and reports (Power BI or similar tools) to communicate insights across the business
  • Work with the Data Engineering team to understand and contribute to ETL/data pipeline processes and data integration from multiple sources (APIs, flat files, internal systems)
  • Help validate data accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure data quality and consistency
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning) and collaborate across teams
  • Assist in documenting data processes, data dictionaries, and workflows
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve business performance
  • Translate business questions into data-driven insights with guidance from senior team members
